Grace Lutheran Church

Divine Service @ 10 am

As We GatherUpon the diminutive Bethlehem town enters the strength of the Lord, and His name is Jesus. Christ comes as a frail infant to accomplish the will of His Father in heaven-to mature and become the divine sacrificial offering for sinners. He is the innocent to be slain. We are the guilty to be acquitted by His mercy. There can be no greater confession for the whole church but to resonate with Mary, "My soul magnifies the Lord."

 "I thank my God every time I remember you . . . It is right for me to think this way about all of you, because you hold me in your heart, for all of you share in God's grace with me . . ." (Philippians 1: 3, 7)

So many people contributed to the success and joy of our anniversary weekend. On behalf of the committee, I extend grateful thanks to EVERYONE who supported us from the planning stage to the happy conclusion. Because there were such a number of folks who worked toward the success of our "birthday party", I will not attempt to name everyone individually, but please know how deeply your support and contributions are appreciated. We thank:

• All who assisted with ticket sales and collection of tickets at the door;

• Everyone who was part of the Tiedemann cleaning crew;

• The great group of people who picked up supplies, set up tables, decorated, and transformed our gym into a beautiful banquet hall last Friday;

• Brian Jones, Simon and Ben for being such accomplished and flexible leaders of the program-and Brian Brownlee, for making sure we could be heard;

• The wonderful folks who pitched in to clean up after the banquet and to ready the gym for Sunday morning's anniversary luncheon;

• All who contributed to making the Sunday Festival Service so memorable and beautiful;

• Everyone who supported and assisted David and Sherley in providing the delicious luncheon following the Sunday service;

• Shana and everyone who helped publicize our special celebrations;

• All those who continually work quietly in the background to make things happen within our Grace family.

My heart is full. We are so blessed.
